Those rocks in Joshua Tree National Park are so beautiful and slightly surreal. They are jumbled like a giant baby was told to put his or her toys away. Geologically, how the rock formed is pretty interesting, between the magma pushing up into the cracks and the tectonic movement from the San Andreas fault.
